Why wrap my head? Well, at the moment because the drugs are making my hair break and fall out. And more so since starting, because it makes me feel pretty and there’s something about only your nearest seeing your hair (I never thought I’d feel like that! I’m not religious, so… Weird.)
But anyway, I’m going to record my progress with wrapping – me on good days, or Mr Geek’s creative flair with a scarf on bad ones! Generally, its a joint effort which is nice.
As I’ve evolved my wrapping styles and gathered a worrying amount of scarves, I’ve found more and more that covering my hair provides a reminder of who or what I am trying to project to the world that day. One particular person in a Facebook group refers to us as Queebs – I see what she means. The scarf is a crown and a constant reminder to hold your head high. Patriarchy my bottom.

We have Mrs G coming over today, so its a good day for a regal wrap with a difference. Its got a lot more volume than I’ve ever worn before and It feels a bit weird helping with the laundry, overseeing homework and going to hobbycraft in this. Surely I should be eating peeled grapes and baklava from a shiny plate?

Feeling a lot better today. Back to comfortable black & white. I like the skinny scarf with tails thing going on here.

Making myself feel a bit better with a rainbow & some bling. Flu sucks.
A Zebra wrap for work.
Away in Norfolk. Love my green scarf / sarong from Malta. I wondered if the big chunky pattern would be too much, but apparently not!
Black roses and a photobomb. She makes such attractive faces…
